when ever i start up ni it crashes and i cant play it never happened before

Erm, does it crash when you start a server up? Or before you get to the main menu?

If it is before you manage to fire up NI to the main screen then you have a dodgy download. Solution, re-download and re-extract

I'm having a problem when I start up NI and when I'm at the main menu and I press play it closes and it says "unable to open file modules/nordinvasion/troops.txt
what do i do?

First of, redownload it.
Then make sure it is in the right folder: Mount and Blade :Warband\modules
If the problem still occurs , tell us
