No, it depends on the item you craft. The higher tier the item is, the more xp you get.
Yep what Vrael said. Only the basic lvl 1 stuff gives 10 xp. Everything else above lvl 1 will give more than 10. The amount of xp given varies from item to item beyond lvl 1 though.
