Saw this recently, runs out on sunday.

Really tempted to get one, but mines doing fine Tongue.

If anyone is looking for a new laptop/gaming rig this christmas, I would recomend this given the price (it's a lot, but much less than expected).

UK link, not sure if it extends to other Amazons.
Hell of a spec there , anything msi touch turns to gold Big Grin just purchased the gf a Samsung ultra book at a bargain price (will run skyrim on max which is a nice benchmark game for a mundane laptop)
I found the same model was cheaper on the US amazon, without the special offer Tongue.

Shame about import tax :/.

Only downside seems to be its cheapish build quality. But some of best specs I've seen in a laptop, including alienware (which are overpriced).
How much did this thing cost so I can be angry with myself for not seeing it sooner!
hmmm something like 900$, maybe nearer 1000, but still Tongue

I did the same jarold, happens Tongue.
If you're interested, the Ideapad Y580 line of notebooks by Lenovo are spec-wise very similar. Not a 17 inch, but I've gotten to like the fact that its 15 inch. It also has a great keyboard.

GPU, CPU are equivalent. HDD is 1TB 5400RPM vs this one's 750GB 7200RPM.

I love it and across all computer sellers, when I was looking at it, it was by far the best for its buck.

The original laptop was going for £899.99 (regularly £1,049.99).  [Source]

Yeah, I thought it was a great deal at the time (for the UK), but it was pretty much the same number in dollars in the US, w/o a sale Tongue.
