You see that part underlined by blue? That's the indicator of how many bots the server keeps track of. As you can see, it only says 3 agents, this means the server doesn't care if there are 8 bots around, 7 bots, 9 bots, or 4 bots, it only cares if there are 3 bots left.
When there are 3 bots left the server will tell you of these three bots how many are dead in the circled red text there. In this case, fig 1.1 shows you there are 2 bots left. This is known because of the three last bots that the game keeps track of, one of them is dead. We know one is dead because the red circled text saying 1 dead.
Contrast to this pic:

Of those three bots, 2 are dead. This leaves there being one bot- The LAST surviving bot.
If all of this is confusing you, just think of it like this. When you see the 1 dead or 2 dead to the right of the 3 agents. Just subtract the number of dead from 3. The number you get will be the number of bots still alive.
