Hello everyone,

It has been a while since our last release! We would have updated sooner but one of the early main features requires a major rework to core code. That feature will be added in a future update but happily, we have many more features that are ready now.

This also marks the start of a double-xp event which will continue through September 5th.

Bot changes:
  • Added Boorish Commoner (Normal mode donator enemy).
  • Added Wolf Clan Conscript (Hard mode donator enemy).
  • Tricksters have learned a new ability.
  • Thor finally learned how to throw his Mjölnir.
  • Thor's AoE affects deployed Tower Shields.

Chat changes:
  • Native (team) chat is now disabled on NordInvasion game modes.
  • Players have a variety of commands to their disposal. Type /help in chat to show the available commands.

Extra health for infantry heroes:
  • Applies to Zweihander, Legionnaire, Juggernaut and Royal Guard.
  • Based on your body armour value of your body armour and gauntlets.
  • Represented by a green bar below your main health bar.
  • Once your normal health is depleted, you will tap into your extra health.
  • When the extra health is keeping you alive, you will become immune to stuns.
  • Regenerates after not receiving a hit for 10 seconds and for 5 health every 5 seconds.

Mini-map updates:
  • Updated the icons.
  • Reduced and standardised the size.
  • Added player spawn locations with highlighting for the selected spawn point.
Player changes:
  • Players can now cheer.
  • The Awakened Tower Shield can be placed like the Tower Shield.
  • Fixed inconsistent mounted crossbow accuracy.
  • Shields no longer disappear while placing barricades.
  • Switching to a secondary weapon mode will now update the mesh.

Scene design changes:
  • Skybox prop (allows the skybox to be set).
  • Ambient sounds (plays a sound at the position of the scene prop).
  • New custom made scene props:
    • Custom barrel models remodelled
    • New pickaxe model
    • Two new brazier models
    • Three blood pools
    • Three new bucket models
    • Four new wool, wheat, salt and spice sacks

Scene updates:
  • Ancient Bastion (pathing)
  • First Defense (invisible platform edge)
  • Graubergen (rough ramp, barriers)
  • Hande's Retreat (pathing, misplaced barrier)
  • Lake Town (lowered a wall, visual fixes)
  • Nordic Fortress (pathing)
  • Nordic Village (misplaced and missing barriers)
  • Port Assault (barriers, pathing, entry points, added back into rotation)
  • Senuzgda Cavern (entry points)
  • Swadian City (prevent getting stuck, ground barriers)

Retired scenes:
  • Kattegat
  • Mountain Outpost
  • Swadian Bay
  • Swadian Hamlet
  • Swadian Keep

Other changes:
  • The scoreboard now shows how many Resurrection Tomes and Explosive Barrels are on the server.
  • Fixed the "usable" text of the newer soup pot to correctly display "Restore Health".
  • Fixed inaccuracies of deployable item health bars.
  • Attempting to replace equipment while alone returns a more descriptive error.
  • Resurrection Tomes now obey the laws of physics (they fall to the ground when dropped).
  • The knock-down effect on crossbows will now properly incapacitate the target.
  • Heraldic shields on the ground will no longer be invisible when you join the server.
  • Added Awakened Onyx Bolts, Awakened Rending bolts, Awakened Black Arrows, and Awakened Zephyr to the missile cleaning script.
  • Added Awakened Onyx Bolts, Awakened Rending bolts, and Awakened Ailadrodd to the crossbow emptying script.

Item model changes:
  • (Dark) Gothic Gauntlets remodelled
  • Vigilance remodelled
