Hm, the tips of the weapons seem kind of rounded, so I'd suggest making the blade thinner, and add hard edges (if you hadn't already).

It's about the hardness of the rings. I think the one without the hard edges, the first picture is better.

I think you're more like a bolt of Mortar Shells  ;D

Try texturing one of these babys.
