Okay so the fix for this problem guys seems to revolve around the use of a support item.
1-If you haven't already, try equipping some sort of item into your support slot, it can be either a medic box or a deployable shield. Make sure to fill up all the equipments slots on both the infantry and cav and save the load-out.
2-Not sure if its necessary but after saving the loadout, i went ahead and unequipped all the gear, saved that, then re-equipped everything before saving again. Probably does nothing but hey, doesn't hurt.
once you join in-game you should have all your gear in the proper slots now.

We are trying to iron this out today. Very odd. I personally have had no problems at all =/ But we'll see what we can do!
Do you have problems with gear on the regular modes?

Then I wanted to play normal and then I had no gear there aswell.

Doesn't work for me either... tried a few diff loadouts on three characters ;-; I wanna play pony hammer so baaaaddd! I miss it.
