Calradia, a continent in Midgard burdened by tribal wars for centuries. Armys had been marching
through the very heart of Calradia, burning villages, killing the innocent and besieging castles.
After years of seemingly senseless slaughter the land saw two rivaling kingdoms rising:
the Kingdom of Nord, ruled by cruel King Ragnar and the Kingdom of Swadia, a confederation of those who were
seeking aid against the raiding parties of Ragnar´s warriors.
When Ragnar realized he stood no chance against the allied forces of those he had terrorized for too long,
he decided to call upon the ancient norse gods. They were impressed by the cruelties Ragnar had comitted in
Midgard, rivaling their own maliciousness and sent their spy Loke on his way.
With his golden tongue he poisened the minds of Ragnars opponents, weakening the defenses of the Swadian alliance.
Ragnar was able to storm the capital of Swadia, Dhirim, and stole an old artifact that enabled
him to unleash the full forces of Asgard on the already weak Swadians.
At the edge of defeat King Harlaus of Swadia decided to found an order of the finest warriors from Midgard to lead
the remaining Swadian forces into a last battle at Dhirim. Lead by Harlaus´ elite order the allied army managed to drive back
their opponents to the north. Alas, Ragnar and his Asgardian allies were not utterly crushed but managed
to escape, allowing them to rebuilt their army.
The war is not over yet but for the first time in centuries there is hope. Hope to fend off the Nord and retrive the
artifact to ban the Asgardians from Midgard once and for all. The success of Harlaus´ Order at Dhirim made them famous and feared by
all foes of Swadia.

Henceforth they were known as ~Champions of Midgard~ and wherever they appear Swadians regain their hope to win.
