I would take that the knight sword is for duelist as they specialise in one handed weapons and the royal gaurd gets the defender shield.

Note to devs:
The Bidenhander does not move to your hands when you equip it. The weapon seems to stay on your back, and your hands are holding nothing, while you can slash alright.
Also, the Forlorn Hope and the Bidenhander have the same recipe, but the Bidenhander is way better.
