Silly silly Ragnash. I was pondering this as well and I happened to remember our lovely friend Drunken Monkey's formula that he made up for valuing legendaries. So with that in mind I molded his old one for craftables as well.
ValueOfACertainCraftable = Generation x CurrentAmountOfCraftableInExistence
So since this is the first/2nd Aegis shield crafted whatever it should be at least 4 times as much as any other Aegis shield since it was a superior first born and not a runt of the 3rd/4th generation.
