As far as I know, each class HAS received new items. For example, the Aegis Shield is a lot better than the Royal and only the Royal Guard and whatever the xBow Hero is can use it. There are also a number of Zwaihander slashing weapons out there already crafted.

Well that was already out there, but instead of stats give them special abilities like : Warcry, debuffs enemy`s armor or something
Or another suggestion was to give them special banners, with aura buffs or debuffs.

Nice suggestion, example of the Warden could be like you get more arrows because it's more a proficiency perk with bows.

Problem could be that other people are able to pick those arrows/swords/shields up without having the hero class. Perhaps something with difficulty levels might solve this?

Gotta admit... After shieldin for 1 and a half hours to get to Ragnar only for him to come up and one bang me was kinda demoralising, royal guards should be able to have a chance..

Abilities are certainly something we want to look at implementing. We will look again at this soon.
