interesting, i think winter came up with a build very similar to this one when cav mode was fun. instead the shielders were mounted on small horses with large shields so that they didn't get trampled...food for thought

When those small horses die youve got a gap, not exactly the best solution in my opinion.

Actually, we never did this because I was told any sort of shield wall is not allowed on Cavalry mode. Perhaps this has changed.

I heard it was pretty fun last time. Although I do not have a pikeman(however, I can sign in with my brother's account, Mythil, if need). I will probably be able to make it and join if there's room since my classes are done by then for the day. Hope to see you all there.

This could still be the case, as I'm not awqre of such a rule. Our last event passed without anyone pointing this out, so I presume this is no longer the case. Ah well, it's an event meant solely to have fun, as drops are pretty much non-existent on cav mode.
