snake spear is only 48 in one direction, a pretty useless direction

On Sparhawks case, it IS a pretty good 1h. The only one that does pierce damage and it's as long as most. Good for hardmode. It seems like you guys are shooting him down when it can be swung in any direction and does quite some damage. Plus, spears are spears, and they're only useful for the weakest class ever, the skrimisher.
