It sort of reminds me of the final statement in the quiz, "It is important that we further my group's goals above all others." We live in a world that is increasingly focused on people as a collective rather than as individuals, and people are judged based on the political (or racial, ethnic, religious, etc.) group they are in. People are expected to conform to that group's opinions or face ostracization. Political parties are becoming increasingly violent towards each other and disagreements are being interpreted as violence and are being reacted to as such and the resulting violence is rationalized as either self-defense or for the greater good. I'd like to think the majority of people are already aware that neither the left nor the right nor any given group has all of the correct answers and that those that disagree with them are not just evil that needs to be destroyed, but it seems the most vocal ones (or at least the ones we hear about most) are not.
