Hyper has recently commented on a thread asking for an ETA on 5.0. His response (along with the other devs) was "we're still have a bunch of stuff to do", so it'll be a bit. He also hinted about free respecs for everyone when it hits. I wouldn't worry about saving your points at the moment.
