Ok so i did five ping tests while my computer was idle and while i was playing NI and averaged the numbers.
While Idle:
Max-194ms, Min-11ms, Avg-19ms, Lost-3
While Playing NI:
Max-289ms, Min-9ms, Avg-18ms, Lost-2
I only dced two times while running these and on both times i noted a line that said response timed out.
I also did the tracert google.com but I'm not sure what to make of the information displayed. Upon request I can message you a screen shot of the information.

Response timed out means that you were unable to connect to the server, as you route to the internet was interrupted. Now I'd recommend checking all your A/V and Firewall products installed to ensure they are set up correctly.
That it appears to be Warband related is a little confusing. Might be that the game is more sensitive to disconnects.

I don't what A/V is, as for my firewall I use Norton internet security.

well i just changed some settings on Norton for mnb so ill see how that fairs tonight. In the mean time, what is A/V and how and where do i check it?

Ok, I sent you the picture with the tracert results. I also changed Norton's permissions for Mount and Blade but didn't seem to help.
