I think that came about from him respecing a pikeman to archer and not changing gear.

Just like vengeance and probably some other new added craftables, they are all usable by everyone.

Very weird, I have not changed anything that would affect the spoilers, for me the spoilers are working correctly. I will have a look at trying to rectify this issue for you though.
