I spawn with only gloves and boots equipped. Downloaded the Zip-file and put everything in the NI folder but this problem still occurs. My ID: 2471214

For me everything was fine. Never have the problem with class.
Now I join the game for the first time with this hotfix, Then this happen:

if you use the auto updater just try to run it again, i had the same problem but it works now

Well, I just re-download the official 0.6.0 and that works. So I don't use the hotfix any more.

There was a brief period right after the release of the hotfix when the hotfix.zip and the auto-updater were not providing the hotfix.  They are both working now.
