Yup me and some housemates had like 3 crashes in 1 hour last night.
Seems like the game also cant handle the gate thingies that you can open/close on hypers hell and hidden cave .

Hey i'm not sure if something is has suddenly gone wrong with my internet or PC but since i have been using the CrPg launcher almost everytime there is a map change or sometimes just joining servers i freeze and lose connection.
Any idea's?

I managed to get mine to work via both CRPG method (on laptop at least) but started steam in offline mode on PC (even though I have auto-updates off you can't trust steam to actually stop auto-updating), I then played warband, clicked Nord Invasion and still managed to play on servers without all of the hassle of downloading both the update and CRPG. Only downside is that I can't chat to people on steam via the PC instead I had to have in online set up on my laptop.

Here is a somewhat alternate method of getting NI to work that I used
*note* with the release of .5.1 step three has been modified
Use this method if ----
You don't mind having 2 copies of the same game (albeit different versions) installed on your harddrive,
Don't want to mess with the steam autoupdate/steamcloud functions
Messing around with deleting files
Don't want to use CRPG launcher
In about three somewhat easy steps
Step 1 - download the compatable version of MnB as posted earlier by Senni
http://download2.taleworlds.com/mb_warband_setup_1153.exe
Step 2 - install mnb v 1.153 to a different directory in your harddrive
i.e. I installed mine to
c:\program files (x86)\mnb
rather than the steam directory
Step 3 - Download and using 7-zip or winrar extract the latest update to ni here www.nordinvasion.com/releases/NordInvasion_0.5.1.rar on your desktop. Cut and paste the extracted files into the new installation's module directory
i.e.
c:\program files (x86)\mnb\modules
The mb_warband application will start the game
If you want to save yourself the hassle of not having to hunt through directories each time you want to play, you can add it to your steam library by going to the bottom left of your library in steam, hitting add a non-steam game (the irony), and browsing to c:\program files (x86)\mnb
and selecting the mb_warband application

I used the same method that Fortune suggested and so far it has seemed to work flawlessly. Almost like nothing happened!
