Probably - I wouldn't expect the devs to give the best arrows ingame to a wave 8 boss, even if it's really, really rare; I guess some player groups would even do special runs just to wave 8 and restart then
You can compare this with the Nord Captain dropping Fiendish Bows some patches ago

All the items with the wrong colors mentioned here should be fixed now.
We are looking into how to improve the material colors.

It´s really not important, but Snowballs aren´t craftable afaik, so they shouldn´t be purple.

same happened to Christmas Hats. They're green atm and not personal crafted. =P

The Steel broad Greatsword is light blue, while the superior Highland Claymore is green. A bit weird.
