If there is any transaction that they deem as questionable they can hold your money, freeze your account, and make it very difficult to resolve the issue. Although this has not happened to me there are numerous reports of it happening to people. Normally this is over ebay purchases but its more of their actions and their inability or lack of will to look into matters correctly.

im reading this topic for a while and i want to ask to you soviet are you employee, partner or advocate of paypal or banks? its weird to advocate a firm like you do. i think you should stop advocating firms and banks if you havent any self-interest from them and think about system(you can start thinking about 'why i should trust greedy capitalist servants of money firms and banks, why we need or using credit cards or why we are using banks and give our money to them for make them more richer'.

What? really? he only asked why that person cant trust paypal, which is an understandable question, you are just trying to start an argument.
Also if you use any paying service via online or online banking it is just as safe as paypal, so they can be trusted as much as any other paying online service
enough of that anyways, this is an outreach to the people for funding help etc not a discussion on how it should be done and who they should use.

i read all posts and i wanted to express my thoughts about that subject. only that. you can think online payment services or online banking secure but i dont think so. and when i see posts of soviet i got angry and expressed my thoughts about that.
