If you want to see the banner in game before the patch, here are the instructions:
Spoiler
1. [li]Close Mount & Blade: Warband if NI is currently running
2. Download banners_d.dds from here
3. Back up the existing banners_d.dds in Modules/NordInvasion/Textures (sample full file path: F:\Steam\mountblade warband\Modules\NordInvasion\Textures)
4. Copy the downloaded banners_d.dds to the location in #3
5. Start NI and check if it works~
