It seems like you would be holding it diagonally from that modal. Re: Terath's models - Terath - 02-09-2015 (02-09-2015, 07:21 PM)Sargent Q link Wrote:What's up with the angle on the straps? It seems like you would be holding it diagonally from that modal. In Blender, when you export the Blender model to import to OpenBRF and put it in the game, the shield has to be diagonal. You have to do this because that's how Warband handles shields - they have to be diagonal, inbetween the X and Y axis but also not facing one of those axis. This also means that the straps have to be going along the Y axis to go along the arm for when OpenBRF mounts it on the left arm/hand. Look; http://puu.sh/jXIdY/8ce6c63eeb.jpg - In Blender http://puu.sh/jXIzF/cce39c105e.jpg - In OpenBRF (different shield for example: http://puu.sh/jXIC8/e8db694d16.jpg) http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/691654839292637653/AB998B5B19BD4BB89DE6BE6C0D003F4896F3D7E8/ -In-game (notice how the shield is now straight and the straps are now diagonal. It's all about how OpenBRF/Blender reads the position of the model.) (the green and red lines are the X and Y axis.) |
