house age requirements - Midren - 04-06-2013

I have noticed a lot of the good houses I.E VLKA and UK require an age of 16 to join. personaly i do not think this is fair to people of a younger age ie myself who have played many mmos and have even lead several guilds. i am 14 but i like to think of myself as having the maturity of a 25 year old. i have played in adult only guilds as my voice makes me seem like i am older. i have nothing against the leaders of UK or VLKA you are good people and i see your reasons, but i woul like to suggest a loophole. members under 16 could have some way to prove their maturity so they may join. just a suggestion and i would love to hear counter arguments. ty for your time

I can only speak for myself, but in UK it seems to be mostly a guideline. We have people under 16 years of age in the clan, because they act like they are older. This is exceptions though. We do have a bit harsh humor and our teamspeak is really no place for kids.

While there are always exceptions, people under 16 years are generally speaking less mature then people who are above that limit.  (and i speak from alot of experience of my NW regiment).

If you really want join these houses try to discuss the situation with their house leader and see what they can do.

The best way to prove how valuable you are is to be present as much as possible on TS. They will get to know you and then they will realize how awesome you are.

You don't know how fast things change when you're young.  Smile

I think random people randomly jumping into a privately owned teamspeak will not result in a good first thought about you.

'Cause you're not nice and handsome.  Tongue

Seriously, Irish always gives a chance to the applicants to join their TS so they can get to know them. He would have to apply first, of course.
The UK TS is a dangerous place though, some people are "special"  Big Grin

Just apply and play the waiting game.
