hey, my brothers account has been inactive for a long time. when he logged back on, it was totally wiped out. all the stuff had gone and he had been reset. i just wanted to know if is what happens or is it a glitch that can be resolved.

It's because he appears to have changed CD key. He needs to talk to a developer on IRC regarding moving of characters.
