Need Help With UV Mapping - CowpaD - 05-07-2013
I'm try to UV map a sword i have modelled but when i select my seam then unwrap it nothing shows up in the UV image editor

You have to select everything in Edit mode (press A), then unwrap.

I'm sorry, I couldn't figure out why the UV map looked so strange.
My advice would be to make a simpler model and practice UV unwrapping that. Then moving onto more complicated models.
