It should register as having 81 Body Armor and 33 Leg Armor, but ingame in the equipment menu it still shows as having 54 Body Armor and 22 Leg armor. I asked another guy and he didn't seem to be having the same problem, and it seems that it does function as having increased armor since most low level bots in Normal mode bounce off. I had this armor before the patch.

Did you update your game?
As long as the server is updated, you'll have 81 body/33 leg from Striped Armor, but your equipment screen may show lower values if you have an older patch.
