What is the point of increases to weaponmaster when your weaponskills are static (based on your classes)? I was under the impression from native that weaponmaster didn't do anything other than increase your weaponskill cap and the rate at which you reach it. Am I missing something?

You're not missing anything. Just Jez. old let's punch in some random numbers here and there theory. Weaponmaster is quite pointless in NI and I removed it from the character sheet a few days ago.
