Melee Weapon: Side Sword/Soldiers Cleaver. I can't recall any Hvy Longbowmen craftable one handed weapons, so this one might be bad advice.
Body Armor: Sturdy Spiked Banded Leather or equivalent craftable
Arrows: Hunting Arrows
