House Crafting - Crafting permission for Captains - Nka19 - 18-11-2013
Hello dear devs
Well I'm just wondering, would it be possible for Captains of the house to also be able to do house crafting to level up the house? So it's not always up to the leader to do the clicking all the time crafting boots/sticks etc. Or if leader is not online for some gear requests from other players, house Captain could also craft it for them.
Let me know of your thoughts if this can be implemented or would complicate things in some other way...

Only if the leader CHOOSES the profession than yes I like this idea. But hopefully that glitch where an alt can carry another housecrafting profession wont be abused.

This would be very helpful as it does ease up on just the house leader to craft when if you have a captain(s) then they can help as well
How they can help is instead of one person to trade to you can send the mats to the captains to use in house crafting

This has been brought up many times since house crafting was implemented. The developers decided it was a bad idea. Due to first of all houses having all crafting professions in 1 house, secondly because it was too easy to spread it out over a 24hr day with multiple people doing it which excluded any form of house co-operation with other houses, thirdly because not all Captains and leaders get along which could cause house arguments about what to do with materials and house crafting goals. I am sure there are other reasons as well, either way, I think their decision was a good one.

Well now that I look at it that way... it does make some sense that this could complicate things. But however, why would a leader set a captain that he's not getting along with? Never had problems with that in my house so didn't thought of it this way
More of like that he's too busy to bother craft those stuff and I'd like to level up the house and craft stuff, that's why I suggested this in the first place so I can do it on my own too.
