Marketplace and Auction House Item thumbnails - Horizon - 05-04-2014
I am finding that only 1/10th of the items i see on Market Place or Auction house have attached images and its incredibly annoying to me.
I am willing to do the work myself on this if it would help the Dev Team. Just give me the size/type of image for the thumbnails and I'll go about collecting as many as I can and send them in a complete file. It looks cheap and half finished the way it is at the moment and I feel having good images for the items would go along way to making it look much nicer in the marketplace/auction house, especially for new players who don't know what everything is/looks like.
Someone from Dev PM if you want me to go ahead and do this.

If you're willing to take screenshots of everything, it might be useful to take the screenshots the same way the current ones are taken, which is in OpenBRF. I don't know how much experience you have with modding Warband, but that might complicate matters a bit if you don't have the experience.

I have no experience modding warband. But I would be able to figure out the program none the less. I'll download the tools and see what I can do! Thanks for the tips.
Sorry if this is posted in the wrong spot. I suppose I was requesting the images be filled, but also offering to do it myself :p

You can get all the info about the picture format here, for example: http://nordinvasion.com//item_images/full/iron_staff.png
Best is to make the pictures in openBRF, make sure to have spec and normal maps enabled, same for transparency and basicly just all the other preview shaders.
If you need any help with this just PM me, thought about doing this too, but didnt really bother enough.
(Also, havent I read a while ago about fancy pictures for all the crafting mats?)
