Baking graphic card. - Oromë - 23-04-2014

So i have currently big problem with my computer. All time when im launching it i can see only digital artifacts and when i see them i must restart computer cuz i cant do anything. I know its my graphic card problem (tested it on my friend comp (he got same computer as me)). My main question is: someone tried baking graphic card? I heard it might help me but im wondering for how long it will work and if its save for other computer components and my cooker?

If you tried it please share your opinions with me as it is my only options as i dont have enough funds currently to buy new card.

Thanks in advance Smile

Well, before you do anything you should try to figure out what soldering material is used on your GPU. Lead fumes aren't fun.

I know about lead but i know my card is made of some metal alloys ( zinc cadmium nickel etc) but no lead here.
