Okay, this might not be a bug but I am pretty sure you don't wear wooden gloves. To craft them you need 1 leather and 2 BASIC WOOD. This makes no sense

First off, I went to google images to try to find a funny picture of "gloves made of wood." Google auto-finished to "gloves made of human skin" :I
Anyways, not a bug, it has been that way for well over a year now (probably first came out). I don't know what the wood is used for, but there are several weird recipes like that.
Here's that funny picture I was talking about.
