Map Prev. Fortified Ruin - Muesliriegel - 04-06-2012

Hello Folks.
I'd like to show u some screenies of my Map. Comments and suggestions welcomed!
The Map shall represent a Ruin, destroyed during the War with the Nords. After the marouding Nords headed off raiding other castles/cities it was fortificated by the Swadian troops that were left in the Region. Now its up to you to Hold out once again against the advancing Nord Troops. Dont let the defence fall again!

Btw. its my first map for m&b ever so dont rip me apart Big Grin

Looking good, especially if its your first map ever!

If you could, a screenie from above would help show the layout of your map Big Grin.

Would you consider this your first draft? E.g. main body is roughly done, fine detail and AI mesh yet to be done?

Looks interresting fort. Take your time with it. No need to hurry with testings.

Yes its the first draft. Although i think ill have to extend the space were players are in. May be to small, but on the other hand a a smaller map would also be quite nice as addition to current maps (btw great hall also isnt that big). Atm there are 3 spots where Nords can enter the Ruin.

I say it's got huge potential. As I've allready told Mues, I'm ready to test this via a clan event. To test it with as many players as possible before it gets implemented.

You should remove all not needed AI mesh that is not realy needed. It brings down map size a lot.

This is looking awesome! I am not an expert on map making so I don't really know what the spawns look like in your overhead, but I just wanted to say that you don't want them anywhere near to, say a tent where some could get stuck if there are a lot spawning for a full server. That reason I say this is because of Great Hall.

Map should be ready for testings. Although 1 thing i have to do before it can be tested, but i dont know how to do so. Map is currently a deathmatch map.... how can i change its mode so it will work for ni?
