If I have understood what you mean by this post, Check that the item being traded over is still in the inventory of the person trading otherwise the trade will fail as the item is not on that character

This has happened to me before, Its really weird. You just end up with a trade open with yourself. You can accept the trade but it just fails with an error message. Make sure you haven't got any items in that trade and a Dev can help you out.
