(Sorry if it already has been suggested)
Example:
[spoiler=TOGETHER IT IS 1 Bar of metal/steel]
[You done a quest, your gift is a One handed battle axe but you dont use it.
With weapon crafter you melt the Steel/metal back to a half bar and get a croocked stick.

You killed a Nord Sergant and gets a battle axe.
With weapon crafter you melt the Steel/metal back to a half bar and you get 1 croocked stick.]
= Melt it together (The 2 half pieces of the bar) and have a normal bar of steel/metal to make other weapons/arrows from it.[/spoiler]
Same goes for armourmaking just with Armour and not with weapons.
