Long dagger in nord invasion - Dalfador - 13-07-2012
Hey, please ask cRPG if you can put the long dagger into the game.
It should be able to be used by archers and crossbowmen.

I don't think it's owned by cRPG, but yea it would be fun to add it, with decent pierce damage but no ability to block. And I'd say usable just by archers.

Kwal, if it is long, it must be able to block. I like this idea, but dagger should have extra strong thrust and weak swings. Thrust should be able to hit through any armor.

It would be useful if it had relatively high pierce damage, as pierce damage does higher damage against well-armored opponents than cut damage does. It should probably be an archer-tree-only thing as well, as crossbowmen rely on a shield as part of their kit, and having a giant wooden board with a little dagger just doesn't look right. It would be a lighter alternative to other one-handers, and more useful than a standard sword in a pinch, as long as you're not engaging too many bots or so.
