Server blocked below the required level - Corndog - 24-11-2014 So yeah, everyone know this,we play on hard or ragnarok. There is one spot, but unfortunately joined player with level below 32 or 39 and we need told him that he must leave but he don't understand. So someone need jump on IRC and report it. My idea is - why not lock the server for players who do not have a need level? Why do you think at this? Re: Server blocked below the required level - Cirex - 24-11-2014 It wouldn't just help everyone playing. It would also protect the newbie who doesn't know that. Definetly agree with this idea The question is: Is this even possible to make? I mean, it's an obvious idea somehow so I imagine there was or still is a problem with that. Until the character joins and gets stats/gear, the game does not know what level that character is. We could auto-kick people from the server but that would not be friendly toward new players since they would not get any notification except that they were kicked from the server. Perhaps in the future we could add a dialog box that would time out after a certain period of time before kicking low levels but with the amount of time it would take to code, this is low on the to-do list. |
