I've got an idea .
Aren't you tired of a afking leecher in your team that's a low level can't support the team
This is my idea
Run a eg infantry training course ran by a admin or a well respected roll teach them how to cade heal and do something to help the team. For example if I'm shielding prince, lets just say its nots easy as a zwei . So he has crush through it takes heavy damage on u and the shield. So if we have a tier 2 shooting and a tier 4 healing they can switch for more firepower. But hey it might seem unfair but u still get xp and same loot chance and ur helping the team more so u can get a better respected roll.
Also I'm not saying that low tiers are afk leechers. They just can't do much to help in high waves.
Especially if they use worn darts.

Yeah, I was thinking on some kind of organized support for new players to help them level up quicker. A training course is a decent idea. If you're willing to train ppl I will join. It takes only few veteran players with support items on normal to provide opportunity for new ones to have a successful run and learn. It could be organized like events, I mean with announcement on website, there are always some normal servers empty so why not?

A beginner's server is very much needed. This mod is not friendly to new players at all. I just got 3 people to buy mbw just to play this mod and they are having a hard grind to start
You can't survive a hit till tier 3
By the time you can afford tier 2 xbow you are tier 3
No diversity in weapons to try out classes
First waves they can't even get a kill as higher tiers mowing through them
Support items are too expensive
If they try and help and die they lose out on assist xp
We are teaching them how to play but our number one rule is surviving is better then trying as they need the xp to get to tier 3.
As think about starting this game for the first time and being told to stand in the corner spamming heal

Indeed it is painful to get passed behind tier 2 as one is not capable to participate and support the team as good as he'd want to. It goes quickly however, one just needs some patience in the beginning. Kip already mentioned in another thread that the Devs are working on some solution for new players to provide them with more freedom and joy of gameplay so I believe we are on good track here and shall see things updated someday (hopefully) soon.
My advice for new players for now is: have patience! It's worth it!
