Returning player, information looks outdated - Torn - 14-08-2015
So I haven't played for a while, and meanwhile it seems a bunch of new stuff has come, yet the guides haven't really been updated, nor have all the official site's descriptions and texts.
Is there any up-to-date place where one might find info on equipment, as in what stats stuff has, and who can equip what.
Alternatively, a short term solution to my problem might be if someone tells me the best gear I can get for a Sniper in under a million. (Sword, Bow, Arrows, Headgear, Body Armor, Gloves, Legwear)

To equip an archer for 1m the-must-have seems to be Sharpshooter Bow. Bronze Arrows go for ca. 1m, so it seems you must do with marketplace ones for a while. For armour you can get yourself Bear Armor chest and Gants + Open Trooper Helmet. As for the sword Grosse Messer seems to make sense while you're low on budget. Boots are negligible (I can't remember a single time I got shot in a leg while on archer...).
I can also see many archers doing fine without any reasonable armour, so after you get the SS bow you could also consider saving money for Bronze Arrows instead of spending on armour. Bow + arrows are essential for archer, the rest is optional IMHO.

Best sniper equip under 1 mil is
SSbow (400-450k)
War arrows (100k)
Bear armor (175-200k)
Bear Boots (75-100k)
Bear gauntless (75-100k)
Open Troper elmet (30k)
Grosse maicer (10k)
