Yeah, this glitch/bug appears since the 0.7.16 map updates. It's most likely caused by bugged or shifted textures in the passages from the lower stairway up to the first floor and from that one to the upper stairway.
And the map is called Swadian Keep if I'm right. Definitely not Swadian Castle

So nice, I used to leave this map sometimes by killing the M&B process because of the game getting stalled (0.1 fps). Same problem for me on Ancient Bastion at the entrance to the lower cadeing spot...
