Weapon switch bug - Patoson - 25-12-2011
I am a Sergeant, so I still cannot purchase a greatsword, although I can pick up those other Commandos drop.
So my friend drops a greatsword for me, I kill some bots, then as we were waiting for the next wave, I sheathed it, and when I wanted to unsheath it, a Two-handed Sword appeared instead :o

The reason you cannot ''Buy'' the great sword is because ''Sergeant'' havent been permitted to buy the weapon.
The stats of a class and weapon arnt really linked. So a class may be able to wield a weapon but not buy it, that is due to either the system still being in production or just a mistake.
The system is still under way as everyone knows and so such things like this will be fixed over time. As for the random switch of weapons, that I believe was caused because your class doesnt permit the great sword. The next time your friend gives you a great sword, I would advise you to try not to shieft it.
