It seems Deployable Shields altogether dont work on every map. I have a feeling this is because they are linked to the Engineer class. Where they are only usable at possibly tier 2 or something. If not then it is probably a bug. I will leave this to Jez.

Deployable shields are as of now meant to be used by anyone, but only fit in the support slot. However it seems like the patch have broken them :-\

I think deployshield need real ground where it can placed.

It does. But now it doesn't even work on regular ground, something broke it totally :o
