Charity Award - Players Suggest Players - Green_Dragon - 08-10-2017
As announced, this is the place where you can suggest a player that shall receive the "Charity Award".
The ninth Charity Award will be bestowed on Sunday, February 18th.
Until Sunday, February 11th, 7pm CET, you can post your suggestions here. After that, this thread will
lead into a poll which will include every name that has been posted until then.
Your post should have the following form:

Reason for the suggestion:
Charity Award on Sunday, February 18th will include the following so far:
237873 Gold
63x Hardened Metal
3x Small Lump of Lead
1x Water of Hvergelmir
1x Bear Fur
1x Raven Feather
2x Bronze Arrowhead
1x Highlander Armor
The rest of the inventory which are basically hard to sell mats of low value will go to the AH.
Some low level stuff he crafted is already there. The profit will be added to the givaway gold until Sunday,
18th of February, 7pm CET.
Rules:
1. You cannot suggest yourself
2. A suggestion shall be posted in the polling thread, including the following: Player Name, Reason for the suggestion
3. No scamming, no offers of gold or other valuables to me or anyone else to influence votes or preferences for a
certain player. If it gets to my ears, the player and his/her "supporters" will be out.
4. The suggestion -and polling period is two weeks and ends Sundays at 18:59 CET. Depending on my availability,
results will be postet here and I will try to contact the voted recipient of the reward for 24h, following the publication time.
5. If there aren't any suggestions posted until the respective Sunday, 18:59 CET of each period, the award will go to a player
of one of the runs, Charity_Bot participated in, during the suggestion period. In this case I will choose someone or ask
someone directly to do it for me.
6. If the winner of the award cannot be contacted and doesn't contact me within 7 days following the Sunday he has been
awarded, the price money will either stay in pot for next week or will be used for equipment upgrades and other things,
Charity_Bot needs to be more efficient.
7. If there is anything else I cannot yet think of, these rules are subject to further additions and may not yet be complete.

The suggestion period has ended. Sadly there were no suggestions made. That means, that
on Sunday 15th of November I will pick a shielder or healer of one of the runs Charity_Bot
participated in and hand the reward over to that player.
I hope that in the future there will be suggestions made, as I will continue to make the project
more publicly known. Please support the project as well by talking about it to your fellow teammates!

Update: I have received a suggestion from a player via PM in the night. Although the
suggestion-period had already expired I have decided to make an exception:

o-o ik this is a bit late but I saw a guy GT_Matthew shield alot of rounds and corner shielding even if it meant dying for the team. His forum name is the same, he only has a SKS and a steel sword so this could help him a bit [Image: tongue.png]

As the first Charity Award has now successfully been handed over to its winner, I have decided to make this
a regular event. However, I think that it will be better to extend the suggestion and polling period to 2 weeks
instead of just one, to give the other players more time for a suggestion to make.
The MPs will be updated accordingly.

Jarl is quite a new player to nord invasion and has only been around a couple months. Almost everytime I am on
I see him online contributing to the team in some way by healing or Damaging nords.

Reason: Amazing Game play by a low level. And getting the clutch tome off with Prince Chasing him was excelent.
I would absolutely recommend him.

At the end of a Normal Run, Norr couldn't really harm the Prince with his gear, so instead of just leaving or waiting,
he kept a cool head, tomed us in when being the only player still alive and then distracted the bot's attention away
from the 2 other players that then shot the Prince during a 5 minutes chase of Norr around a building on the map
Coastal Raid.
