Beserk also has 3 films that are based on the series, which was based on the magna series but as far as I know only the first movie has been translated into English so far, the 3rd movie was just released 4 days ago.

Yeah it had a weird feel to it compared to the series. But I liked it, it was a nice(ish) end.
One thing I hated most about firefly was that it ended without any warning :/.
