NI (or whatever) causes crashing - Julia. - 11-03-2018 I tested playing diffrent games, aswell as diffrent mods in the past. Anyways, my Laptop crashes (blackscreens and tuns itself off) when playing NI (and only NI). Other games such as Black Desert online which theoretically have a high graphics-loadout do not cause sth like that to happen. Besides that, the Laptop can crash after 5 minutes or 2 hours, at some times it doesnt crashes within a day. There is no pattern behind it. I'm not looking for a perfect solution, first at all I would like to know what actually causes the issue and would be glad for any help. RE: NI (or whatever) causes crashing - ilya2106 - 11-03-2018 View the file rgl_log.txt which is in the game folder. You may need to install compressed textures for a comfortable game. Tell the settings of your laptop and the graphics settings in the game. RE: NI (or whatever) causes crashing - Julia. - 11-03-2018 As I said I doubt that actually the textures cause it, I can play like any other game on highest settings. My Laptop should be decently capable of running MB or NI... I have a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 (Laptop Series Graphics-Card from Aug 2016) and 8-Core i7-6700HQ CPU with 2.6GHz built in. RE: NI (or whatever) causes crashing - Sigolo - 11-03-2018 I have this same sort of issue too from a couple months ago. My computer will freeze and then doesn't accept any inputs and I have to reset it with the power button. It only happens when i'm playing warband and it's completely random when it happens. Did it solve itself or did you do sth to solve it? RE: NI (or whatever) causes crashing - ilya2106 - 11-03-2018 The characteristics are very good, but for the first time I see that the computer just turned off. I know this game very long time and well. And I'm trying to help. Anyway, when the next time your laptop just turn off while playing in Warband, check the rgl_log.txt file, or write its contents here. Also check the temperature while playing in the Nord Invasion. Because, this mod is still quite demanding, and maybe your laptop overheats. RE: NI (or whatever) causes crashing - Akcyn - 11-03-2018 Well, if u set v-sync off and fps cap is set to 999, its speed up game load time, but both videocard and processor are overloaded without any need, it might be too high temperature but cpu ang gpu should throttle first. I lowered my settings today a bit (texturedetail, ragdolls are set to 0 anyways), but still it crashed atleast two times. I am thinking about using my PC again, but it would be kinda sad if I can play any game besides NI on my Laptop. Thats a good hint. Actually NI started crashing as I changed those two settings. I guess I'll try to change it back again, as I can wait 30s longer to load when that results into stopping the crashes. I think this can solve your problem. If not, write here. RE: NI (or whatever) causes crashing - Julia. - 15-03-2018 I hope its fixed, can be closed. |
