For the last week or so I have been getting a lot of lag on the NA servers. Even though ping shows up as around 50, it feels more like playing with 250-300 ping.

Can confirm this. It's just unplayable, lag on seconds not on milliseconds. Even American players prefer to play on EU nowadays despite bigger ping.
