So, there is new throwing weapon, that suppose to be better than Jarids.
But they aren't.

In the top right hand corner of your post, there is a button labeled "modify". Use it instead of double-quadruple posting.
Difficulty: 1
Stats:
Weight 5
Speed rating 88
Weapon length 80
Thrust damage 52 p (Ranged)
Thrust damage 49 p (Melee)
At first glance at the damage, you might come to the conclusion that these spears might have been intended to be used mainly in melee, with the option to throw them being entirely secondary. 49p is not something any marketplace spear can approach. 42p is the highest on there- the awlpike.
The only legendary that matches or is above the 49p damage of this thing is the dragon spear matching at 49p, and the Pike of Kings beating it by 3 at 52p. The thunder pike (42p), sun pike (40p), dragon halberd (47p), the assassins' glaive (42p), and even the dragon breath at 56p ranged damage, only does 37p in melee.
If you take a look at the speed and length however, it might cast some doubt on the whole melee concept of this weapon. At 88 speed, this thing is not fast at all, and coupled with the weapon length, a relatively long 80 for throwing weapons, it's still quite short compared to other polearm and 2h weapons.

Well, if you are Tier 4 (Pikeman) can you better have Jarids becaus the damage is 50% more than craftable javelins...
They are good for skirmischers and that is all (or not?)

I think it has fallen into the realm of the hunting spear. It's a craftable that isn't exactly cheap to newcomers, and there is absolutely no reason for them to get it. It's just wasting space in the 255 item limit.
