Official WinterInvasion Event, 23.02.2025 - Julianature - 09-02-2025
Hello folks,
i warmly welcome you to another special event: The WinterInvasion on Sunday, 23.02.25, hosted by me.
You may ask: What is WinterInvasion?
A WinterInvasion is like a regular NordInvasion event… but with a chilling twist.
The mighty and furious Lord Mr. Winter and his filthy band of ruthless cutthroats have decided to join forces with the Nord faction.
This means you’ll need to triple your security measures and sharpen your focus - because if you don’t, you’ll find yourself dying. A lot.
But that’s not all. Lord Mr. Winter and his gang of treacherous Nord bandits are masters of disguise, making it nearly impossible to tell them apart from the regular Nord troops.
Stay sharp. Trust no one your teammates. And may your blade strike true.
Event Details:
- Date: Sunday, 23.02.25 (In 2 weeks from now on)
- Time: 15:00 CET / 14:00 UTC
- Location: TeamSpeak (TS) – Active attendance required for the event duration.
- Maps will be revealed soon (No Hypers Hell)
- We are going to play 2 Ragnarok Events at the same time (2x 16+4 players) + 2 Player-Controlled Nords (Devs/Admins) per Server -- for 2 hours
Unfortunately his camp is far away, so you have to sail a few months (Final stand = NA Server).
On your perilous journey to the depths of hell, you will face a series of brutal challenges—one of which is the mighty Kraken known as “Hande.”
Ravenous beyond reason, Hande devoured all the barrels you carried with you (No barrels, including the 1st round, allowed), leaving nothing behind.
Even your precious books were drenched in the chaos.
Luckily, you managed to save the books (Tomes allowed), or the next challenge would have been impossible to overcome.
But don’t get too comfortable. The worst is yet to come.
- Once you arrive there is no time to rest. Here, you will face the two captains of Lord Mr. Winter’s gang—and the dreaded Lord Mr. Winter himself. No additional Nords will come to their aid. Instead, you will stand against three powerful, player-controlled bosses, their true identities unknown until they emerge. They will spawn simultaneously. Steel yourselves, warriors. This will be your greatest challenge yet.
Sign-Up Rules:
- Spots will be distributed equally among all NI houses. If you're houseless, you can also sign up.
- If more people sign up than there are spaces available, the spots will be assigned by lottery for the largest houses.
- The event roster will be posted on Friday, 21.02.25 at 20:00 CET / 19:00 UTC.
- Join TS at least 20 minutes before the start to secure your spot. Latecomers will lose their reservation.
- If you can't make it, please sign off from the event by leaving a comment in this thread.
