Assist xp - Fitz - 14-03-2013
Is it only me that as a commando when they are about to deal that final blow to that nord huscarl when suddenly BOOM an arrow appears in the huscarls forehead and what do you get.... nothing. The sniper or sharpshooter or pikeman is too far away for you to gain assist xp from the kill even though you had taken out most of the huscarls health already.
Would it be possible to get assist xp if you are near the bot that is killed rather than just near the killer of the bot?
Thoughts on this?

Imagine being in a shieldwall on an open map (offshore, for an example), where archers can fire freely. All that xp would be lost. Also, the most common tactic in this game are shieldwalling, for just that reason: all players get xp and it's safe.

What i meant was being able to get asisst xp in both ways so that yes you still get the asisst xp in the shield wall but if you are out and archers are firing behind you then you get none of the asisst xp because even though you are near the bot you don't get anything for it

Yeah this isn't happening. I'm more likely to get rid of assist xp than make more ways for you to get it
